BEFORE YOU FILL THE FREEZER
Quarter cow cost.Know what you are comparing.
How much is a quarter beef? The useful answer is more than a headline price. Compare the selected option, what the quote includes and how much meat you expect to bring home.

The four parts of a useful quarter-beef quote
Start with the beef option and its price basis. Is the amount for the listed share, for hanging-weight pounds or for packaged pounds? Next, ask what processing and packing are included. Then check delivery or collection costs and any applicable tax. The final confirmed amount should make those parts understandable before you pay.
The current beef product page holds the editable option prices. This guide deliberately does not duplicate those figures in a second price table that could become outdated. Open the listing to compare the available quarter options and keep the calculation tied to the actual item you select.
Hanging weight and take-home meat are different
Hanging weight describes the carcass before all the cutting and trimming is complete. Packaged weight describes the meat prepared for your freezer. Bone-in preferences, trim and the cut plan can affect yield, so comparing two hanging-weight quotes still requires a conversation about what is included.
The planning table on this page contains the ranges provided by A & B. Use them to discuss storage and the specific order, not as a guaranteed conversion formula. A quarter option is not a promise of every steak or roast in a fixed quantity.
Compare total cost, then cost per usable pound
For a rough comparison, divide the confirmed total you intend to pay by the estimated packaged pounds. Keep the result labeled as an estimate until the actual yield is known. If one quote includes delivery and another does not, adjust for that difference before choosing.
A good order also fits your habits. Buying a large share is not a saving if you lack freezer space or avoid half the assortment. Ask about the cuts, package sizes and possible substitutions. The team can clarify the details for the available option before you commit.
From price research to a clear order
Browse the beef listing, choose the quarter option you want and add it to your cart. Enter the destination to review shipping choices. Orders needing a final weight, availability check or freight quote remain subject to confirmation before payment. A preferred date is a request rather than a booked delivery.
Keep the order number and private code. Once the amount and payment method are confirmed, follow the recipient details on that private page and upload proof of payment for review. Ask about any deposit arrangement rather than assuming a standard amount applies.

PLAN YOUR BULK BEEF ORDER
Whole, half or quarter?
| Share size | Hanging / carcass weight | Packaged / take-home meat | Freezer space |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whole beef | 700–850 lb | 550–650 lb | 17–19 cu ft |
| Half beef (side) | 400–425 lb | 300–375 lb | 10–12 cu ft |
| Quarter beef | 260–310 lb | 200–235 lb | 5–8 cu ft |
Business-supplied planning ranges. These are separate estimates, not a mathematical conversion between shares. Animal size, cutting choices and bone-in or boneless selection affect yield. Your confirmed order states the actual packed weight; shipping charges use the configured shipment weight, not these guide ranges.
